The library has a number of computer available for general use. In the lobby are thirty-six computers and two ADA reserved systems. Computers in the library's new Teaching Center are also available when the room is not reserved for a library class or special function. The library also has twenty-eight laptop computers at the Circulation Desk which can be checked out for IN-LIBRARY use by students, faculty and staff. The Drain-Jordan Library occupies a central location both intellectually and physically on the campus of West Virginia State University. If you are on campus and wish to locate us, the library is building #4 on the
campus map. It is pictured below:

Local Directions to the Library (within West Virginia)
Take Interstate 64 and exit 50 (Institute). Turn left onto US Highway 25 (Fairlawn Avenue). Drive approximately 0.2 miles. A visitors's parking lot, clearly marked, is available on the right-hand side of the road adjacent to Wallace Hall (a nine story building). Visitors need to check in with Public Safety (Security) and receive a visitor's parking pass. From Wallace/parking lot, the Drain-Jordan Library is approximately 50 yards southeast.
