NASA Scholarships Available

West Virginia State University in collaboration with NASA WV Space Grant Consortium is offering scholarships for undergraduate students majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Mathematics, and who are interested in working on a research project in the natural sciences, mathematics or computer science.

The amount of scholarship in previous years has varied from $1500 to $2500 per student. Recipients will conduct a research project under the sponsorship of a WVSU faculty member and present the results of their work at WVSU Annual Research Symposium at the end of April 2012.

Interested students should talk to one of the faculty members in their department and prepare a proposal for the project ASAP.

Deadline for submission is Friday, September 30, 2011.
