WVSU Offers Job Seeking Strategies

WVSU is offering a one-hour course for all University students planning to enter the job market in the near future. "Job Seeking Strategies" will be from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays for five weeks. Sandy Maharaj, Director of Career Services and Cooperative Education, is the instructor. The course will be offered only in the Fall Semester.
With the current, challenging job market, it takes a average minimum of six months from the time a person begins their job search until the time the person actually lands a job. This course will help individuals navigate the job seeking process.
To register for the course, students can go to "MY STATE" and do a "Course Add".
