Undergraduate Research Day 2022
Abstract Submission Form


You are eligible to submit an abstract for consideration in the 2022 Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol if:

1. You are a current undergraduate student at a WV institute of higher learning.
2. You will not graduate before May 2022.
3. You are involved in a scholarly activity (research/creative project) under the supervision of a faculty mentor at your institution or from another institution (may be completed or in progress).
4. You are able to attend URDC February 18, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. EST and present your scholarly activity in poster format.

Please fill out all the fields below. Once submitted, an email will be sent to your mentor for "approval." Please work with your mentor on fashioning the title and abstract and notify your mentor prior to submitting your abstract. If you are a West Virginia resident, you will need to include your WV House and Senate districts. Information can be found on our FAQ page.

Naming Your FIle:  When attaching your document in the form below, use the following naming convention: Last name, underscore, name of school. Example: Fultz_WVSU.

AUTHOR 1: This should be your (the undergraduate student's)
information, not the faculty mentor. This is the main person
who will attend and present at the event.
Author 1 Year in School*:

AUTHOR 2 - If your abstract has a second author, please
complete the following fields. This should only be information
for another undergraduate student author (not your faculty
mentor or a graduate student on the project).
Author 2 Year in School:

AUTHOR 3 - If your abstract has a third author, please
complete the following fields. This should only be information
for another undergraduate student author (not your faculty
mentor or a graduate student on the project).
