West Virginia State University (WVSU) is a historically black college/ university which has evolved into a fully-accessible, racially diverse and multi-generational masters degree granting institution. In addition to graduate offerings, more than 15 baccalaureate degree programs are available at WVSU.  Associate and technical offerings are specifically part of the administratively-linked West Virginia State Community & Technical College (WVSCTC) mission.  Together, WVSU and the administratively-linked WVSCTC serve over 5000 students.
