Wednesday, October 29th  - General Services Administration - Information on employment opportunities within GSA and application process for federal employment will be discussed. One of the representative David France,a 2008 graduate in Communications will be available to talk about his career path with GSA.

College of Professional Studies Career Success Strategies Convocation - Wednesday, November 12th , 12 noon- 1:20 pm - Student Union
Pre-registration is required. Students can choose to attend one of the following concurrent sessions:

Session 1 - "Getting LinkedIn to Social Media; Job Search Strategies and Social Media" - Students will learn about how to use social media to build a network and find a job. Topics include developing a personal brand, managing an online reputation, building a professional network, and learning from an expert in the field. 
Session 2 - "It's Interview Time: Navigating the Speed Bumps" -Participants will practice their interviewing skills within a small group in a relaxed informal setting and receive feedback from experts.
Session 3 - "Pathways Ahead: Considering Graduate School" - Graduate School Panel. Discussion will focus on choosing a school, area of study, grad career options, financing education and the application process.
