BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMMUNICATIONS - 123 hours required for graduation.

GENERAL EDUCATION — 50 to 52 hours

MAJOR — 34 hours*
COM 101, 140, 162, 170, 241, 261, 348, 400, 461; one course from COM 341,360, 405, 470, and COM 270 or 370.

Graphics: CS 106; ART 213, 217 and 313.
International Communications: 12 hours in a foreign language.
Journalism: COM 225, 227; 263, 326.
Photography: ART 109, 310, 407; COM 343.
Writing: ENGL 201, 303, 429, and either 430 or 431.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION TO COMMUNICATIONS  PROGRAM -
Completion of at least 45 credit hours (100 level or above) which must include
COM 100 and 101 and ENGL 101 and 102. GPA must be 2.0 or above. Students
should contact Communications Department for application procedures, deadline
dates, and other information.
