In Case of Emergency

The Collegiate Support and Counseling Services staff members are well aware that a crisis situation may occur at any given moment, even after regular business hours.  We strive to have at least one staff person available during evening hours (M-TR until 7pm) while classes are in session.  Unfortunately, we are unable to provide 24 hour coverage.  It is for this reason that our housing staff and residential advisors have been trained in the necessary steps of an emergency response.  If a WV State residential staff member and/or student advisor is not an option, we suggest the following actions:
