Broadway Musical [title of show] to be Performed at West Virginia State University

INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State University (WVSU) will stage a performance of the popular Broadway musical [title of show] Oct. 1-3 in the David Stephen Skeen Black Box Theatre, located in Cole Complex on the school’s Institute campus.

The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. nightly and is free for WVSU students. General admission tickets are available to the public for $5 and will be sold at the door before each evening’s performance. Seating is limited and tickets are available on a first come basis.

An acclaimed Broadway musical, [title of show] tells the story of Hunter and Jeff who decide to write a completely original musical starring themselves and their attractive and talented friends, Susan and Heidi. Their musical, [title of show], gets into the New York Musical Theatre Festival, and becomes a hit. The musical has been described by reviewers as, “A postmodern homage to the grand tradition of backstage musicals like ‘Babes in Arms,’ ‘Kiss Me, Kate’ and ‘A Chorus Line.’”

Cast members include Thomas Halstead, WVSU students Courtney Jennings and Patrick Means as well as WVSU graduate Jenna Skeen.

The crew consists of WVSU students Christian Wesley, Kristen Hicks, Eric Rogers and Colton Thomas.
