WVSU Candlelight Vigil for Domestic Violence Awareness


      In recognition of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, West Virginia State University along with its National Center for Human Relations will hold a candlelight vigil on Wednesday, October 13 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the Student Plaza. The vigil will feature survivors of domestic violence, messages of hope and inspiration, and remembering victims who lost their lives in the past year.

     The campus community is encouraged to attend this event to raise awareness of the tragedy of domestic abuse.
