WVSU Alumni & Friends

West Virginia State University boasts an extensive network of alumni in a variety of fields across the globe. Whether you simply want to reconnect with friends from campus or provide support for academic or athletic programs, there are many ways for alumni to continue to be a significant part of the State family.

Connecting

The West Virginia State University National Alumni Association is at the forefront of reconnecting alumni. As you found during your time on campus, State becomes a part of you. Your experiences here helped shape the person and professional you have become. Though you have graduated, you will always remain part of the WVSU community. The National Alumni Association works to continue this sense of community through its pledge:

"To join hands with other alumni in perpetuating the ideals of my college, nurturing its growth and promoting its program, to serve with honor in my chosen profession and to make myself a symbol of the best traditions of my college - this is my commission and my challenge."

Giving

The West Virginia State Foundation manages and administers contributions and gifts to benefit the University. Since its inception, the Foundation has arranged scholarship programs and financial aid for students in need, funded and established professorial chairs, and assisted many academic, athletic, community and student projects at the University.
