Admission Requirements

FIRST-TIME FRESHMEN

  1. Application for Admission
  2. Official high school transcript (from an accredited high school - partial or complete)
    OR
    GED (for home-schooled students or for students who don't have a high school diploma)
    OR
    Placement Tests (to be administered by the college to all students without ACT or SAT scores; ACT or SAT scores are required for admission into most selective or competitive programs) - Click Here to Visit the ACT Website.
  3. Immunization Records (if born after January 1, 1957) (SEE BELOW)
  4. Statement of Activities (for students out of high school six months or longer)

IMMUNIZATIONS REQUIRED
MMR (Measels, Mumps and Rubella)

IMMUNIZATIONS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
Meningococal Vaccine

IMMUNIZATIONS RECOMMENDED
Polio Series
Tetanus-Diptheria-Pertussis (Td and aP, or Tdap within the past 5 years)
Hepatitis A Vaccine
Hepatitis B Series
Varicella Vaccine (or history of chicken pox)
Annual Influenza Vaccines

TRANSFERS

NON-DEGREE SEEKING (applicants with less than 15 hours and not seeking a degree)

  1. Application for Admission

TRANSIENT STUDENT (students enrolled at another school and returning to that institution)

  1. Application for Admission
  2. Course Approval Form (from your Registrar's Office)

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT (current high school student) must meet the following criteria:

  1. Application for Admission
  2. Completed his/her junior year of high school curriculum
  3. Current high school grade point average of 3.0
  4. Recommendation letter from the high school principal
