Feb. 8 Last day to apply for May 2013 Graduation

April 1

Thesis/Project Proposal deadline for students wishing to register

for Thesis/Project I in summer or fall 2013 (All signatures are necessary for final proposal to be approved)
ALL PROPOSALS SHOULD BE APPROVED BY COMMITTEE MEMBERS AND SUBMITTED TO
GRADUATE COORDINATOR BY 4 PM APRIL 4 OR STUDENT WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE
FOLLOWING SEMESTER TO DEFEND.

April 12 Last day to submit graduate project/thesis to Media Studies

Coordinator. ALL PROJECTS/THESES SHOULD BE

APPROVED BY COMMITTEE MEMBERS AND SUBMITTED TO GRADUATE COORDINATOR BY 4 PM
APRIL 12 OR STUDENT WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE FOLLOWING SEMESTER TO DEFEND.

April 16-26 Thesis/Project Proposal Conferences scheduled

April 16 MS Coordinator will notify all December graduation applicants of

Project/Thesis defense date

April 19 Thesis Project Fee ($120) due at cashier's office

April 20-26 Thesis/Project Defenses scheduled

May 3 Deadline for final project/thesis (w/changes and corrections) to be

filed in department office to be checked and approved. ALL

FINAL PROJECT THESES MUST BE SUBMITTED TO

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE (DAVIS 402) BY 4 PM ON MAY 3 OR STUDENT WILL NOT GRADUATE THAT SEMESTER.
