  1. White parking spaces are reserved for students. Blue spaces are reserved for persons with disabilities. Red parking spaces are reserved for faculty and staff. Yellow parking spaces are reserved for service vehicles and University owned vehicles.
  2. Visitor parking is available in green spaces and with a valid Visitor’s Parking Permit. Visitor’s Parking Permits can be obtained from the Public Safety Office in 114 Wallace Hall.
  3. Do not park in the red parking spaces. You could face a fine and/or have your vehicle booted, or towed.
  4. Parking passes can be purchased in the Parking & ID office for $81 for the full year or for $43 per semester.
  5. Parking can be more challenging during the first two weeks of classes. There is not assigned parking. It is strictly on a first come first serve basis. Please allow at least 15 minutes to park and walk to class.
  6. Public Safety officers patrol the campus and enforce traffic and parking regulations on a 24-hour basis.
  7. Call the Public Safety Office at 304-766-3353 if you need assistance with your car battery, have locked your keys in your car, or would like an escort to your car.
  8. Be sure to read the Traffic & Parking Regulations pamphlet that you received with your parking permit. If you have misplaced your pamphlet, another copy can be obtained in the Parking & ID Office.
  9. Student parking permits are to be displayed on the inside right front windshield so they are easily visible. Permits are considered invalid unless they are displayed properly.
  10. Unpaid citation(s) can result in one of the following actions:
    • Withholding of diplomas, credits, and transcripts
    • Denial of future application for registration
    • Tow or hold a vehicle until debt is paid
    • Excessive debts will be turned over for collection
