The College’s unique combination of Business and Social Science disciplines sets us apart and enables us to enhance your marketability and career opportunities by developing a broader set of capabilities, skills and competencies required to succeed in today’s world.  Students can study business and social science disciplines and also pursue flexible combinations to enrich their educational experience.

Programs & Options
The College includes the Department of Business and Economics and the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences.  Its business and economic programs meet the high standards of accreditation by ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs).
 
The College offers degrees in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts, and Masters in Public Administration and we are working on new program offerings.  Students in the business program may pursue concentrations in Accounting, Energy Management, Finance, International Business, Marketing, Management and Management Information Systems.  The Bachelor of Arts program allows students to pursue majors and minors in EconomicsHistoryPolitical SciencePsychology, and Sociology & Philosophy.  Our flexible programming architecture enables you to enhance your career options and attractiveness to employers by allowing you to complement your major area of study with other concentrations. 
 
The College also encourages you to participate in internships with industry partners and in student internships, clubs, case competitions and honor societies.  Top recruiters representing both statewide and nationwide companies visit our campus frequently allowing students an opportunity to network and interview with potential employers.

ACBSP Accreditation

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Economics Degrees have received an additional academic accreditation through the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP is a specialized accrediting organization that reviews the quality and integrity of business degrees.  Accreditation by ACBSP is based on an independent evaluation of an institution’s business school or program by a group of professionals, which include faculty and academic administrators in the field of business. 


Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

Students must choose one of the seven areas of concentration reflecting their particular interests: accounting, energy management, finance, international business, management, management information systems, and marketing.
